About the agency: how long have you been in business in Eastern NC; are caregivers W-2 employees or contractors; what is your minimum visit length; what is your call-out coverage policy; do you provide a written care plan.
About the caregiver: how do you match a caregiver to a client; what training do caregivers receive in dementia care, safe transfers, and infection control; who supervises the caregiver day-to-day.
About the plan of care: who writes it, how often is it updated, can the family see notes after each visit, and how do schedule changes get communicated.
